Meet Pamela Alderman

Pamela Alderman is a ten-time ArtPrize artist and a former Navy wife. Yellow Ribbon, like her some of her past works, ArtPrize Top 20 Hometown Hero and Cut Short, offers a sacred place for military families and friends to encourage one another. Yellow Ribbon also creates a healing space that collectively engages the collective larger ArtPrize audience. This community interaction helps activates love, gratitude, and hope, through the tying of the handwritten notes and yellow ribbons on the abstract tree shapes.
